Going through a storm currently & really need prayer, my faith is being tested.
Please pray for my friend, Kathy Blaylock, she had Chari malformation surgery, October. Her healing has been slow and now is infected. She goes tomorrow to Skyline Medical for MRI, and possible have to go back to correct surgery. Please pray the MRI is clear and can solve the problem with meds for infection. It has been a hard long two months.

Barbara Brown had a CT scan this week of her chest. They have found a 2.8 size spot on her they believe to be malignancy. Please pray for their family and doctor.

A very good and long time friend of mine has cancer throughout his body. He called me from Michigan the other day and filled me in on all the news. Please pray for God to miraculously heal Brian Dixson of this cancer that is spreading through his body. I would also ask that you pray for salvation. And a friend here in that had a stroke and is having difficulty with his ability to work and do simple daily tasks. Please pray for my parents and myself. We have recently gone through a rough storm. As a child, I did not have a relationship with my father though I had tried very hard to have one, he was only interested in doing the things that he wanted to do and ignored my own wants and needs by making up excuses or using cop outs so he wouldn't have to go to things I or any of my siblings wanted to go to. Unfortunately, he continues to do this to this day.
After being rejected again recently, I tried to pour out my heart to him, sharing with him how he had hurt me and I spoke in a loving way and was never disrespectful or mean.
I understand that no parent is perfect and thankfully he did apologize...something that is very rare to hear from him, but he and my mother both continued to reject my offer to spend time with them at the upcoming marriage conference.
Although I have told him I forgave him and still loved him and asked again if he would please spend time with us at the conference, both my parents began to blame my pregnancy for the way I was feeling, telling me I was over reacting and being selfish to ask them to come to something they didn't feel they "needed" because their marriage is "right where it needs to be."
With a broken heart, I had to accept their answer and felt over the next few days, unloved, unwanted, and misunderstood. I have prayed hard to God who has given me comfort and love through this time and I know that all I can do now is to pray that their hearts be softened and changed.
Please pray with me for this to happen...it has been so hard for me this past week. And pray that God gives me strength to continue trying to invite them to things so that we can spend time together, even if it means being rejected again and again.
I have faith that one day things will change. Thank you for reading and praying for me.

Staying on the path to God
Can you please lift up my mom in prayer, that she is healed from her mental condition. Nobody is sure what's going on really, but over the last 2 months she has been to 3 psych hospitals and gotten worse. She's given up on life and constantly feels like she may die. Just pray she can find purpose and a reason for her life and to get it back. Lift up my sister and I and give us courage to know what to do to help her. Thank you in advance.
