Prayer update: I had a prayer request for Rico, who was severely burnt in a house fire April 17th. I asked that everyone pray for miraculous healing. God did just that! We prayed that Rico would not have to have another skin graft and he did not have to have the surgery. The doctors strongly recommended that he have the surgery but when the bandages came off his left arm, we found that it is healing on its own! Thank you all who prayed. Please keep Rico in your prayers that his mind and emotions stay strong.

Hi church family! I just wanted to ask that you would be praying for God to guide my family right now. I've got some huge opportunities and decisions to make and I just really need God to guide my steps.
Please pray for my friend who is dying from cancer. It has spread throughout several parts of her body. She has already had multiple surgeries and has received chemo several times. This last time, they had to stop it due to her having multiple blood clots. They are now saying that she only has weeks to live. The doctors are also saying that with the rare form of cancer that she has that it is extremely likely that it is genetic and that other family members will be more than likely to get it. Please pray for her, her family, and friends. Thanks!

My husband, Dennis, will have a surgical procedure on Fri, 5/9/14, 9:30 am at Vanderbilt. Thanks to all of you who prayed for my professor's mother who was airlifted to Vandy. Please continue to pray for her while she is still recovering and for the doctors who are still trying to figure out what the cause was. Here is an update from my professor...."I just wanted to thank all of you who put my family in your prayers. My mom was moved out of Critical Care, taken off of the ventilator, released from the hospital, is at home and is now talking and moving independently so we are thankful. We appreciate your prayers so much." ....this all happened within about two weeks. God is good!!!

Please pray for my Stephen Minister care receiver who has gotten the flu which went to her lungs, then her heart. She had a major heart attack Friday morning and is in Cookeville, ICU. Her kidneys are shutting down and the prognosis is not good. She is only 33 years old and had gone through so much in her short life. Thank You.
Please pray for miraculous healing for Enrico Irvin ("Rico"). He was badly burned and has been in Vanderbilt's burn unit in Nashville since Thurs April 17th. He was flown there after a kitchen grease fire at my house burned his face, neck, arms & hands. He had a very painful skin graft on Tues April 22nd where they removed 75% of the skin on his right leg (that did not previously hurt) to staple onto his burned right arm. He is scheduled for a 2nd skin graph this coming Monday, but I am believing for divine healing before then so that he will not need the 2nd surgery. Please ask also that God show mercy with Rico's pain. Thank you.
