Update on 6 year old Alby Gaby. His surgery went well. The drs. were able to drain a liter of fluid off of a lung and the lung is starting to work again. Praise God!!! The tumor is 10cm big and in his chest cavity but not attached to his heart. Praise God!!! Dr. is doing a PET scan today to confirm if it is lymphoma or what. They will do 3 evasive tests on Monday to help with treatments. Thank you for your continued prayers. His parents' heart is that their situation will bring God glory and it will be used for God's purposes.
Please pray for my son and I. We both have been sick off and on a lot for the last couple of months, money is getting really low and the bills are coming due, I'm getting behind in my schoolwork, and just all of life's struggles and worries are becoming just so overwhelming.

Prayer for Brenda Mason. She had a stroke over the weekend following gall bladder surgery. Needs second surgery to remove gall stone and feeling in arm to return as a result of the stroke. Brenda can move her arm but it has numbness. She is a coworker's MIL and baby sitter for several coworkers' children.

This is actually a praise. Several months ago, we asked for prayer for direction, our finances, and our house selling. (It had been on the market for almost three years.) The Lord answered all our requests, though in very unexpected ways. Around Thanksgiving, Shawn received a significant promotion, and a job offer--in Oklahoma! Of all the states we could have picked, that was one of the last ones on our list, partly because of all the tornadoes and property damage. But here we are. Plus, the day we left TN for Oklahoma, a couple came to see our house, loved it, and made us an offer. We are waiting to close by the end of the month. They lost their home and all their belongings in a fire the day after Christmas. Not only are they a blessing to us, God is allowing us the privilege to bless them as well.
The only bad part is that we must say goodbye to all the wonderful people we've met at the River. We used to drive an hour from Jamestown every Sunday to attend services, but Oklahoma is a bit of a stretch!

Please pray for me to find a good state approved daycare close to Burgess Falls area that will take my 13 month old grandson. We live in Sparta but its just as close to Cookeville as it is to the city of Sparta.
Keep my brother Jesse in prayer. He has double pneumonia in his lungs and has type 2 diabetes was told today that they have to do procedure on him to remove the fluid out of his chest and his heart is working 35%.
Pray that my husband finds a new job. He was just told they are cutting his pay drastically, effective Monday. Only with God's help will we be able to pay our bills.
PRAISE!!!!!!!!!! CARLs TEST HE HAD ON THURSDAY AT HOSPITAL CAME BACK NORMAL. HE SEES HIS DR IN TWO WEEKS . JUST KEEP HIM IN PRAYER AND THANKS TO ALL WHO VISIT HIM AND PRAYS FOR HIM.

Please pray for Mindy and Chris Newberry. They are friends of mine. Chris has a mass on his Thymus Gland and it is growing. The doctors will biopsy on the 17th to determine what the mass is. Mindy also suffers from a fatty liver and thyroid trouble. Both have been through alot already in the last six months and don't know what's coming in the future.

1. Been without a full-time job and insurance for over 3 years now. Many great things have happened during this time; God has really shown up in big ways and we are grateful. I've applied for every single job opening I could find in that time but have found nothing yet. I may have a part-time job opportunity coming up that could lead to more work, so please pray.
2. Please pray for my husband. He has a lot of stress on him as he's the only one with income.

Please pray for the establishment of the Good Soldier's Academy for young boys who are living on the streets (a.k.a. glue boys). We need God to work in all the details, down to the smallest of details, and lead the way.
We are currently assisting with ministry to street boys in Bungoma Kenya, which is in Western Kenya. We appreciate your prayers for this ministry. It is much needed for these boys.

-For the South Sudan medical mission trip in March. 1. Please pray for God to speak to Tim and Doc Kelley to confirm this is the time to go, or not, and who should be on the team. (Decisions have to be made quickly.)
