Please pray for Mindy and Chris Newberry. They are friends of mine. Chris has a mass on his Thymus Gland and it is growing. The doctors will biopsy on the 17th to determine what the mass is. Mindy also suffers from a fatty liver and thyroid trouble. Both have been through alot already in the last six months and don't know what's coming in the future.

1. Been without a full-time job and insurance for over 3 years now. Many great things have happened during this time; God has really shown up in big ways and we are grateful. I've applied for every single job opening I could find in that time but have found nothing yet. I may have a part-time job opportunity coming up that could lead to more work, so please pray.
2. Please pray for my husband. He has a lot of stress on him as he's the only one with income.
3. Our son has special needs, which adds stress.
Please join me in prayers to my sister Cindy Hall today. She is having surgery this morning to remove benign tumor on her spine. I pray her surgeon has sure hands and that her recovery is without pain
Please pray for the establishment of the Good Soldier's Academy for young boys who are living on the streets (a.k.a. glue boys). We need God to work in all the details, down to the smallest of details, and lead the way.
We are currently assisting with ministry to street boys in Bungoma Kenya, which is in Western Kenya. We appreciate your prayers for this ministry. It is much needed for these boys.

-For the mission trip to Rwanda with the Cookeville/Jamestown team. 1. For God to work to the hearts of the people before the team gets there to speak to them about forgiveness. For the team (James Gribble Sr., Mark Clapp, Jake Bramer, Tom Halliburton, Tim and Marsha) for safety and favor in travel, good health, be so in tune to the Holy Spirit that we don't miss any of His guidance and direction. 3. For God to be in every little detail and HIs will be done.
-For the South Sudan medical mission trip in March. 1. Please pray for God to speak to Tim and Doc Kelley to confirm this is the time to go, or not, and who should be on the team. (Decisions have to be made quickly.)

I have had to turn down job after job due to child care as well as tranportation. I am with THE lodge for domestic violence victims with my 6 year old son and I have a couple months left there but have to find a home soon as well. Tristan's real father is in prison and is needing things. I am having a hard time with being able to get to a job that has been offered repeatedly that has opened up with the perfect hours for my son's schooling and me being at home. I have also applied for many jobs and nothing else has opened. I have lost some of my faith while on this journey trying to stay away from my abuser and keep contact limited to nothing which has also deemed hard for me to do. I feel like I was doing well and fell down and now I have fallen again and can't seem to get back up. I am fighting with my own mind as well as my anxieties and trying to stay right and good for my son as I have been clean and sober since March 2012. I sometime find myself thinking about doing things that would mess that up but my strong will has kept me from expanding on that further. I know that the devil is doing work in my life I just have not been able to see where God is and what he is doing or has done at all.
After extensive testing for stomach pain my stepdads results are all pointing towards a cancer of the liver or stomach. Please lift him and my mother up for strength through these hard coming times
Clarity. How does God speak to me? That the Lord would work in me, break me, and make me what He wants me to be.
Need to fill my week with Godly obligations. I have drifted away from Jesus. I need daily guidance to do the work of Christ, instead of sinning.

As I look over this week's prayer requests, I see so many folks in "chapter 40" as Pastor Dave so poignantly described it. My heart breaks for and goes out to all these good people, who are trying so hard to get to their chapter 41. My prayer is that they would keep striving, never give up, and take strength from the knowledge that there IS a chapter 41 down the line!
Please pray for a sweet lady I know who lost her daughter this morning unexpectedly. Also, a very young child in my community who was diagnosed with cancer was told he was in remission and then they found the leukemia again several days later. They are allowing him to do another round of chemo which is something they've never been able to do, but his reaction to the first round was so well that they're able to give him this opportunity. Please pray for this little boy along with his family during this very trying time. I also have several unspoken prayer request I need help praying about. Thanks!
