I’ve felt so broken and alone the past few weeks. My faith has been struggling. My grandfather is in the hospital and probably will die very soon. And I have had my heart broken very recently. I keep praying and trying to listen to God, but I feel lost. I don’t know how to get better. I haven’t been able to eat or sleep. I’ve been sad all the time. I go to the 11 o clock service every Sunday and I feel encouraged, but it’s so hard to hold onto that encouragement through life each day.

Praying for a friend and her 4 month old daughter. They were victims of domestic abuse. The abuser is under an order of protection, and so he is keeping his distance. Please pray he stays away and that mother and baby are safe. Mother is also trying to keep everything going. Please pray for her new job she will be starting next month and that God will provide a safe place for baby while she is at work.
Prayer request for our neighbor Anthony and his family. Anthony was admitted to the hospital last night because his blood pressure was very low. Please keep him and his family in prayer, that he will get better. Thanks to everyone who prays.
Please pray for a friend of mine. They are battling cancer and it is now in their lymph nodes.
Just want to give a praise report and thank God for His goodness. God has restored my vision in the last week after a procedure I had last week. God is my source and the ultimate healer. I want to thank Him for His sovereignty. Most people with the condition I am facing have debilitating headaches, but by God’s grace I haven’t had a single headache. There’s no other explanation except “But God.”
Praise report, thank you all for your prayers, we have found a new place to live and will be moving on August 6. Thanks to the River staff and members for all the prayers and support, etc.

He had a brain tumor removed last September and has been in and out of the hospital with numerous difficulties over the last few months. Yesterday morning he was admitted with stroke like symptoms because of some new swelling, they admitted him and not sure when he will be released yet. He & his family live in Ohio & have a strong church family. He has a sister that is 8 yrs old, and she is really struggling with understanding all that is going on. We as a family are going through a "huge" season of change and it is stressful. Our 17 year old son Austin is growing farther away from God and Jesus Christ. He needs some mentors and friends that follow their Creator/Heavenly Father.
