Thanks for the prayers for my father. Please continue to pray for him. He will be going into surgery this Friday afternoon at Vanderbuilt. The doctor will be amputating his left leg above the knee. My father could have had the bones and joints replaced which would have been a very lengthy recovery time and there was not a 100% percent sure that the infection would not come back. My father has chosen the amputation. He is at peace with his decision and my family ask for your continued prayers. Thank you and GOD bless.
Thanks to all who were praying for my son Matthew, His surgery went well and he is re cooperating in his new rocker recliner very well. He has a new nose and a new chair. lol Dr said he had to sleep sitting up for Ten days!!!
Praise Thank you God for my wonderful husband, children, sisters family and friends. I have truly been blessed. There may be days that I get fed up or discouraged (especially with my job) but I will always have things that God has blessed me with. I pray that I can be a light and other people can just see how much I love God and Love Jesus. I pray that people not only hear the words I speak, but also can see by the things I do. I also pray that I can be a good spiritual example to my children. I am so proud of them when they recite Bible verses and I will continue to pray for their salvation. AMEN! :)

She is being tested at Vanderbilt hospital, they are not quite sure what the illness is yet but, she is experiencing tingling & numbness in her legs and in her hands and arms up to her elbows. Please pray for my father. He is on his way to the Joint Clinic at Vanderbuilt. He had both knees replaced about 10yrs ago. Back last January his left knee swelled up with a bad infection. Spent about a month in rehab. Had been doing great until a couple of weeks ago and his knee swelled again. The doctors drained his knee again and ran some more test. The test showed he has a Strep infection. The infectious disease doctor seems to think he should have both knees replaced once again. Please pray that GOD will touch and heel him and he will not have to go back through all the surgeries again. Thanks and GOD bless each and everyone of you.

Story of a miracle: On Monday, they said she had 2 strokes. The family prayed. By Tuesday, they realized it was a tumor, likely cancerous. Felt confident that it had began elsewhere and had spread. Family doctor and his office prayed. We began sending out prayer requests. By Friday, the neurosurgeon admitted her to the hospital and said there is far more going on and it is highly likely that she has another tumor deep in the center of her brain. Surgery set for Monday. We send out more prayer request. They have come in from all over! It has been so overwhelming. TODAY....they have sent her home!!! They can not find any other masses, anywhere! And the mass that has started all of this is responding to treatments and SHRINKING!!! It is down to the size of a pea and even her vision is coming back! Doc said there is no way it is cancerous, as it wouldn't shrink. He told her they would continue to monitor her, but there was no need to even operate!!! GO GOD!!!!! Thank you, so very much! My mother is proof that prayer works! That God can heal!
A guy I know from my hometwon (Springfield, TN) hit some people with his car as they walked across the street. The people are in critical condition and he faces serious charges because he was under the influence. His name is Trevor.
My husband (Kurtis) ahs not worked for 2 months. He has tried all he knows to do. We need prayer for employment for him. God has been faithful to provide our needs in amazing ways, I know He can provide a job for Kurtis! Please pray with us! Financially things are becoming desperate.

I feel quilty for my request after reading others. Please ask for prayers, I have been in so so much pain this week and could just barely stay for church service. My fibromyglia has kept me in bed most of this week. I just ask for the pain to ease a little so I can do things that need done. Please pray for my sister's continued recovery from her massive stroke. She can take a few steps with assistance and has very limited speech. Friends, we know the power of prayer. If we faith, even if it is as small as mustard, God will honor are plead and request. The God who spoke this world into existence has given us the humbling ability to come boldly before His throne. And when we come, he will give grace and mercy in our time of need.
Paul tells us to weep with those who weep and to rejoice with those who rejoice. There are so many Christians in this who need our prayers. We could spend days upon days on are faces before God on others behalf, and still have more to pray for. Even Pual, The Apostle, needed prayer in times of hardship and he pleaded with Saints to pray him.
I ask that you take moment and just stop. Reflect on what you need to address before God and then pray for my friend. Gabriel Ketron is at St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis. He was doing very well until yesterday and things turned for the worse. His Mother says, " Gabe continues to need more and more blood and platelets as the infection seems to be eating them up. His temp is 103 and is not going down with medication. All blood counts are low and not recovering well. Blood pressure continues to be a problem and dopamine has been increased 3x. Todd and Colt just arrived. He is in a tremendous amount of pain but can't take pain meds because of his bp. Please pray."
As we talked last night about young brothers and sisters of the faith, Gabe is a young brother. Despite his suffering, he has constantly pointed others to God and more so asked for those praying to pray for his friends with cancer more.
Ultimately, we rest in the arms of Almighty God. He is sovereign in this moment and watching Gabe. Cancer is not bigger than God, and my God can save Gabe. Now whether or not he chooses to, well that's God's call. No matter what the outcome, may God be praised and lifted high, for he has brought Gabe into the family of God and calls him son.

Update on Rosie Edwards It was not a stroke. Its a brain tumor that they believe to be cancerous. Doing more test to determine where it started from. She has to see a neurosurgeon. She has no medical insurance.
Please keep John and April Philips in you prayers, John is going in this afternoon for a scheduled 3 hr. surgery.
Update on Rosie Edwards She goes at 11:15 today for the results from the MRI. All they would tell her is they found an abnormality.

I just want to praise God for all He has done for me. I thank Him for my church family, life groups & my own family. HE always shows His mercy & blessings. Thru all my mess He is showing me His love & that He has a purpose for me. I fall more in love with Him everyday. I am thankful He is a forgiving God.

Please pray for my mother, Rosie Edwards. She is retaining fluid at a rapid rate. 9 lbs in last week and 4 in past 24 hrs. Dr appt today @ 3:45. Also she is having problems with her right eye. Its falling off to side like a lazy eye. She was diagnosed with macular degeneration a couple mths back.

My cousin's son, Zachary (12 years old, with Autism) had been hopsitalized about a month with major behavioral/ self infliction of injury and no relief or hope from doctors. He was released home in worse condition than when he went in. After our lifegroup leader prayed and requested a fast/ prayer for him, we spread the word around and many participated. That night my cousin contacted me with great news. Zach had an awesome day! At the time we were praying, her son called out my son's name! He is still doing Great! Praise God and many thanks!
