He is recovering so well that he will be released from Vanderbilt tomorrow to travel back to Johnson City to a rehab hospital there. A Co-worker lost her brother yesterday. He was 42. A couple of years ago he had contracted Lyme disease and it brought out an unknown heart condition. About a month ago he went into heart surgery and never regained consciousness. I ask for prayers for this family: his wife, 5 year old son, Parents and siblings.

I had to have a mammogram and ultrasound yesterday for a lump I had found. The tests were indeterminate and they will have to do a biopsy. I am very nervous about it because I hate needles. Please pray that everything is okay and it's not cancerous. Also, I broke my tooth last night and don't have any dental insurance or really much of anything to pay for dental work right now. Not to mention a huge fear of dentists. Please pray that God will ease my fears and that I will find a dentist who is willing to work with me. Thank you!
I'm unemployed and had to move back in with my parents. I want employment where I can best serve and where I can be filled too. I'm discouraged as I've been unemployed (this isn't the first time of unemployment) longer than I've ever been employed and I'm tired. Pray for peace for me as well. Praise - a friend of mine has started a relationship with the Lord!! This is a huge step as he has been agnostic for most of his life. He is coming to visit in 2 weeks, and I hope that he is here to come to church with me. Also, I am struggling with weight issues, and want to work out, the problem is since my back surgery, my right leg is still partially paralyzed and it hurts to do any work outs that require legs. He has been having severe behavior outbursts nd has now been hospitilized at Children's memorial in Chicago, IL, where the medical team is trying to find medication to calm these behaviors. Mike DiMona, a friend from Johnson City, is enroute to Vanderbilt via ambulance. He has had brain hemorrhaging and has had three brain surgeries in three weeks. The doctors can't seem to stop it and all are frustrated. Measures to alleviate swelling have not worked and his brain remains swollen, causing seizures and a possible mini stroke. He has always been healthy and has had no other serious health concerns. Please pray for his medical staff to have Godly insight into the problem and God's supernatural strength for his wife Robin who is so exhausted and worried.

Emily went in this morning for surgery to help Her heart function properly. We are so very Blessed to have our Risen Savior guiding the Doctor's and Care Professionals to Victory for this precious little girl! My mother and I had a fight this summer; she cut her visit short and left our home abruptly. We haven't spoken to each other since July, since the day she left for home. Our relationship has been rocky as long as I can remember. She doesn't approve of the way we're raising our child, we don't agree on the Scriptures, she's very liberal in both politics & religion, she doesn't like my husband very much, and she doesn't like what decisions we make with our money. She is manipulative, controlling, demanding and tends to have an abrasive personality. The holidays are coming and she will want to spend time with our child - her only grandchild. Both of us are Christians. (My parents divorced when I was young and I had to go live out of state with relatives, who ended up raising me.) Please pray that God's will prevails in this situation. It appears hopeless. Also: her husband doesn't like my husband which creates even more conflict.
