Continued of increasing evidence of the Holy Spirit in my walk with Jesus Christ.
Two weeks ago, we sat here, writing letters to servicemen. My letter went to a fella named Reggie. On our way home that day, we drove a route we normally do not take (the "back roads"). As we got near our house, still on the back roads, we saw a puppy standing in the road. We stopped and picked him up. He was dirty, nasty, mange, and flea and tick covered, and wow did he stink! Today he is doing well, and has a new family (us) and my daughter has been a God send to this puppy. And we named him Reggie.

Pray for me to find a job soon, the one that God wants me to have. Pray for our Aunt Faye, who buried her husband 2 weeks ago today. Pray for our son to have a great start to his school year and the best school year he's had yet. Pray for my 93 year old grandmother, who's in rehab after breaking her hip and having hip surgery; she seems down, is worried about the recovery and going home.
Please pray for my father and the three other men who risked their life to take down a very bad man. My dad is a cop in Memphis and on July 3rd him and his partner and two other cops were chasing a man that had a gun and was shooting at them in a stair well. My dad's partner was shot in the head and died on the spot. They did catch the man, but my dad is not dealing well with it and I just want him to be safe, and to get the help he needs to get his head back on straight.
Praise for the Lord's healing of baby Ruthie Thorpe. Pray that He continues to do mighty works of healing on that amazing unborn child!
Greg and Tabitha Hall and their son Devin. Greg had to have heart surgery. Pray for his healing and recovery. Pray for all their family during this time.
Continue prayers needed for Marlene Pigg from Overton County. I work with Marlene's daughter in law, Melanie. Marlene had a brain aneurism almost 2 weeks ago. She is doing better, but still has a long road to recovery. I would like to pray for her family during this time.

Jordan Walker (my son) – has moved to Charleston, SC and has 2 job interviews on Tuesday (7/26) David Storie (my brother) – surgery on Monday (7/25) My neighbor, Carolyn, who has a new baby and 3 older children, and no car. She is looking to buy a dependable car of any kind for about $1000 and wondered if anyone in the congregation had one for sale.

Just got back from Cedar Lake Camp and had a great time. I just want to pray for one of the girls that I had. She just gave her life for Christ and is having a really hard time with going back home and still being a believer. I just want to pray for her to give her strength when she is tired, to give her energy when she doesn’t want to go anymore.

My wife’s aunt took herself off dialysis this week. She has 4 to 8 days to live. We will be traveling to Michigan for her funeral soon. I pray to Jesus that our pastors, ministers, and all those commissioned have open hearts and open ears to those in need instead of… The all too common ready to “preach†before hearing. When God’s children come forward for help that there will be someone ready to hear and not too busy or too worried about what others will think if they are seen speaking with this person. I pray that judgment be left for God Almighty to do and that criticism be left at the reflection in the mirror.
PRAISE GOD! For our new home and the finances to buy it, my job, and my beautiful family, and for being the leader of us. Praise God for the children coming to me this year and allowing me to make a difference in their lives.

Darrell Denney (Nancy’s brother) – kidney’s are failing, down to 3% working. Pray for salvation and healing to his kidney’s.
