Update on Josey He is scheduled to go back Jan 18 to take the cast off and if all goes well stay a couple days to be fitted for a brace. Jan 28-Feb 2 he will go back to get the brace and start therapy to learn to walk. No update for surgery on the other leg yet. Thx for all your prayers, they are greatly appreciated.

Jared is at Vanderbilt with Rachael. They were doing the 48 hr parent led care for Deacon in preparation for possibly coming home soon. But got this from Jared a few minutes ago......
Well we won’t be coming home with him next week. He's started throwing up a bunch, so they're dropping the tube to his intestines instead of stomach and potentially later on putting one surgically in there. Now the next few days they'll decide with Rachael if they just keep him til the next surgery and potentially do closer to 4 months instead of 6 or what the next steps will be. Please pray the doctor’s to have wisdom in knowing how to treat and support him. Pray for his parents- Rachael and Jared, grandparents- Pam and Marty, and his siblings- Dillon and Layla.

Now Ukraine and Russia hasn't done a prisoner swap in 6 months. Pray that they do a swap and that Misha can come home to his family after being MIA for over a year. Pray that this information isn't false hope for his family. And thank y'all for your prayers.
Please help me pray for my dear friend Heidi and her family. They have really been through it this year. Her mother recently finished chemo and right after she finished chemo, her her husband (Heidi’s father) Vern received news that he has cancer. He is currently on hospice. Heidi will be traveling to Vegas tomorrow to spend as much time with her family has possible.

My transition saga continues. On Wednesday I found out that I had a fine and an entry ban for overstaying my visa. I was told I can return before the 90 days are up if I can get a student visa. I am feeling weary and tired of striving yielding another disappointment.
PRAY for smooth travels and rest as I make the long trip to the States tomorrow. PRAY for me to not lose confidence in the Lord due to all these disappointments. PRAY for comfort because I'm grieving many things. PRAY that if the Lord is trying to do something else in my life that he would make it clear. Or if the exact thing he wants from me is to keep pressing on that I will continue to have the strength and energy to do so.

Church family just saw in Memphis Tennessee at chimney rock Elementary school on January 10. They are having a gathering for students for a Satan club meeting. We need to get on our knees and stop this meeting stop Satan from attacking our children. This article was in the commercial apeal newspaper. If it is happening in Memphis, where will it go next how many schools will open up to their children to be exposed. All Christians everywhere need to be on their knees and pray that this is stopped and does not happen in the school that God doesn’t allow it and that we is Christians do not allow it. We need to protect our children pass this word around to as many people as you can so that all Christians everywhere will be on their knees praying that this does not take place.
Please pray for our sister C who lives and works in Central Asia. She has had difficulty getting her visa to remain in the country. She will be taking a trip out of the country tomorrow, 12/13. Please pray for C to have complete peace about travel, interviews, encounters with officials and God's plan in all of this even if it is unclear. Pray for ease at the borders and a clear understanding of the ramifications of any decisions that she'll have to make. Pray that she'll be able to get back in on a 90 day visa, not have to pay a fine for overstaying her old visa and have extra time to start her next visa application.
