2 requests, 1st urgent- (From Gail) My best friend since high school and I have reconnected over the last 2 years. She has been resistant to my sharing the Gospel with her for many years. We just talked last week and she has been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer- prognosis 6 mo to 2 years. She is undergoing treatment and not up to a face to face visit, so I am going to write to her all those things I would like to say. First, my prayer is for a softening of her heart to receive what I write and second, that I write Holy Spirit inspired words- words that transform. I know it seems strange that I am not asking for prayers of healing from the cancer, and yes, hoping that God will do that, but her soul is much more valuable. No matter what this broken world may bring her way, I am looking for a Changed heart and eternal identity for her.
2nd request- (from both of us) We are moving to FL in 2 weeks. Please pray for our direction to a new church home and that we will be lead to one that is a sweet and good a fit as the River has been for us. We love our River family, we are so thankful God chose you for us and we will miss you!
Please pray for my work situation. That God will close doors to the opportunities that are not right for me and open ones that are. I want His will for my life and sometimes we don’t know any better to walk through the wrong door.

My brother-in-law's younger brother has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The whole family is also Mormon. Please pray that through this, someone will come to know the Truth.

Please keep us in your prayers as our son has turned 18, continues to live at home, has another year of school left, that we hear from God as we continue homeschool him, and that our son will follow hard after God as he crosses over from being a child to a man. If you would pray for our family, I would appreciate it. The uncertainty of knowing when we are actually going back is hard on all of us but on the kids particularly. We are waiting for some approval before we can get tickets, but in the meantime the kids are going back to school, after having already said goodbye, and not knowing if they have 1-2 days or 1-2 weeks left. It’s awkward and a bit of an emotional roller coaster. It’s already hard to leave but for it to be drawn out is rough. Could you just ask that we would lean into the Lord and trust his timing? Ask for peace and that we’d focus on what He has for us each day.

Hi, My name is Kimberly and I was born with a birth defect called Spina Bifida. I have had 17 Surgeries. I am in hospice but at home. I am terminally ill. I am bed fast and on oxygen 24/7. I have a bad heart. I am not able to eat I have to drink Wal-Mart nutrition drinks.I have a nurse and aide. I am a dnr in hospice. I am a born again Christian for 27 years since I was 17. Please pray I will not suffer very much longer and see Jesus soon.

Pray for me. Had surgery on my face. It was cancer. I am doing fine, but still talking to God to put my life back and me a job.

Pray for our brother Hans. He is feeling really down particularly due to the outside pressures and threats from authorities in our city. Ask the Father to strengthen him, give him deep peace and sleep. Ask that any evil plans against him will be thwarted and that the Father will be glorified in his life.
Pray that I would have restored confidence in the Lord and who I am in him. I’m learning and practicing how to be still and listen to his voice. Pray that I can remain steadfast in this discipline. Pray that I would wait in expectation for the goodness of the Lord, that I will be strong, that I will be strengthened and take heart. My current counselor will no longer be able to counsel me. Pray that I will find a good fit for a new counselor and that the situation is surprisingly better than what I had.

Keep praying for Vanessa, Victor, Aviana, and especially baby Rudy. The infection in his lungs is better but scans show that his brain did not develop enough and he likely won’t be able to walk, see, hear, or swallow. They are recommending removing the breathing tube and don’t think he will survive long at all. So, a decision will have to come soon. Please pray as this hard decision is considered. We know it’s all in God’s hands.

Last week she received news that her hormone levels and numbers aren’t increasing like they should be and there is a chance of miscarriage.
