I was put in foster care January 6, 2020. I will be 18 in 6 months and I feel alone in this. I miss my family and friends. I miss Woodbury. My adopted family no longer wants me. PRAISE GOD! My Dad is 75 and has had a drinking problem all of his adult life. He just told me he hasn't had a drop to drink since Dec. 9! Hallelujah! Please continue to pray for his salvation. He also said he's lost 20 pounds and feels a lot better. Thanks.

She began communicating with people on the internet and at least one of them is a confirmed "romance" scammer. I am worried that she will get scammed for her savings and get hurt emotionally since she wants to believe these people.
Please pray that God would protect her from evil people and the evil one.
Pray that God would give her wisdom and discernment to see through the lies, and stop communicating with people who she has never seen, and who won't talk to her, but only type.
Pray that God will giver her a clear mind and he will comfort her so that she doesn't seek comfort in false people and things that will do her harm rather than good. Pray that she will lean on Jesus, and that he will give her peace in her heart and soul, and comfort for her loss.
Dave Hull a friend and co-worker who is a believer had a bicycle accident at Cane Creek park in August 2019. He has been fully to partially paralyzed since the accident. He has regained some use of his legs and right arm, but is still is confined to a wheel chair and has a long way to go in his therapy and recovery.
Dave has a great attitude in his circumstances and is thankful to God for keeping him from being hurt worse, and for encouraging him through his family, friends, and especially the holy spirit during the times in the hospital, especially when he was alone at night and unable to sleep or move.
Please pray that God would heal Dave. He has said that everything happens for a reason, and that he hopes to be able to drive places to tell others about his experiences.
When he entered the rehab center in Atlanta, he had to give three goals that he wanted to achieve. He said that he wanted to go home by Christmas, he wanted to walk out of the facilty on his own, and that he wanted to be able to get in the floor and play with his grandchildren. He did get to come home at Thanksgiving, but hopes to go back to do more therapy. He needs to gain more strength and the left side of his body needs to "wake up" more for the therapy to be more effective.
His son and family moved back to Cookeville to help care for Dave after the accident. His son was in ministry on the west coast, and is married with two small children.
His Doctors have told him that he will get about 97% of what he can expect to get back within one year from the accident.
Please pray that God would do a miracle in Dave's body and bring him back to health and that he would meet and exceed the goals that he set when he first entered the rehab center.
Pray that God would heal him so that Dave can fulfill the wish to go and tell people about his experience and how God healed him and sustained him through the injury, the confinement, and the uncertain recovery.
Please pray that God would encourage and comfort Dave and his family during his recovery, that his spirit would fill Dave's home with the peace that passes all understanding as he, his wife Becky, their son, daughter in-law, and two grandchildren live together and work towards Dave's recovery.

Several of you know my Mom had back surgery yesterday. The surgery was successful and she's doing well. This morning she said she's ready to get out of that hospital bed because it's uncomfortable. My high school best friend is expecting a granddaughter to be born soon. The delivery date may have been miscalculated but regardless, she's very small. I have requested prayer before for my mother-in-law Judy Draughn, so i was going to give a brief update. She is battling gall bladder cancer as we speak. She was progressively getting better slowly up till a month ago. Her original chemo treatments stopped working, so the Dr's. at CTCA in Newnan, Ga have tried a new cancer treatment a more localized chemo drug targeting the lower GI area instead of her gall bladder. It infuses over a 48 hr time frame. The first of these treatments started 2 Fridays ago and she had a rough time this whole last week from the treatment. She has currently made her way back to Atlanta for another round of chemo but before she is able to do so, she is undergoing treatment for a uti and an obstruction in her lower intestines. She has been vomiting green bile from her gall bladder at least 6 to 8 times daily and through the night. She is very weak and dehydrated from all of this. She was seen Saturday at Sat med in Cookeville and received 1 and a half bags of fluids then, along with shots for nausea and the newly found uti. She had a follow up appt with sat med, where she recieved 2 bags of fluids and shots for nausea and uti. After being told about the blockage situation they called ctca to see what they wanted to do, they advised us to bring her down there. Mom has had some great facilities and people caring for her through all of this and we have praised God for everything through this battle. She has remained strong in her faith and continues to fight as hard as she can, because we know who is in control. We may not always like the circumstances in our lives, but God is our source and strength, comfort, source of joy. Please continue to keep Misty, Judy, and I as we try to provide Judy with the best care we know how. We Love the River church family for showing us love with every interaction we have. May God's blessing be poured out to all of your family's.
Please lift up my Mom & Stepdad in prayer. She has back surgery tomorrow @11:30 in Richmond, Virginia. Thank the Lord, she was able to find caregivers for both of them as she recovers. She's praying for God to heal her through surgery so please help me pray for her in that. God meets us where we are in our faith. She and my Stepdad are believers.
Please pray for my Dad who had surgery a couple weeks ago to repair a detached retina. He has told me he is not a believer, and I've been praying for his salvation for about 3 decades. He's 75.
Please pray for my son who is 16. Pray for the scales to be lifted from his eyes and to see Jesus as he's never seen him before. Pray for him to have an unquenchable hunger and thirst for righteousness, and to follow after God and His will for his life with all he has.
