Praise that 2 people professed faith on the island this week. PRAY these seeds will be protected and these sisters will grow in maturity and holiness. But with good news comes bad news and the authorities came and made a big scene telling us we couldn’t do henna anymore because we didn’t have permission. One of our folks later went to try to understand the problem and ended up sharing with the angry man and his coworker for 2 hours. PRAY we can find a way forward to keep doing this outreach and for the two men who heard the good news at length to be impacted by it.
My friend from ten years ago has been messaging with my friend H and has requested a copy of our Book. PRAY the Father draws him into the life of faith.
My friend Brooke and one of her friends visited my church today. It was Brooke’s second time and her friend’s first time. PRAY for the seeds planted in their hearts today.
My uncle Steve was diagnosed with prostrate cancer and has spread to his bones. He has a mass on his hip. They are not sure which treatment to do. He also needs healing from an infection before they can start the treatment. That he also knows Jesus.
My Aunt Linda who was in a bad wreak two weeks ago that she can go home soon.

I pray for my husbands struggles, our Lord knows and can move mountains. He takes any situation and turns it to good so that others may see Him. I pray that he guides our next steps and works through us so that all things glorify Him in the end.
A friend I met ten years ago and shared with recently reached out to me. In spite of getting married, having a child and starting a career, he still feels empty. I sent some verses to him about what profit is it if we gain the world but lose our own soul. He has legitimate barriers and fears to following JC. PRAY the Father will lead him to find the Treasure that leads him to sell all in order to get that Treasure.
Last week’s island outreach seemed harder and I could feel spiritual pushback. In spite of this we shared with over 100 people. I offered one couple a copy of our Book but they refused it. A few minutes later the wife came back alone and said she did actually want one. PRAY for this woman to read the Book and for seeds planted that day to produce much fruit.
We’re going to the island again this week. PRAY for favor, protection, unity and for our words and actions to give eternal light to those with whom we interact.

Please pray for her sweet parents Rachel and Jessie and her little sister.. this is an answered prayer that she has gotten a heart.. she has been in hospital since late August on transplant list. Selma is 6 years old.

That I sell my house ASAP. That relationships get healed.
PRAY as I begin the overwhelming task of finding a cheaper apartment. PRAY specifically I can easily find one in a mostly flat and quiet neighborhood, within easy walking distance to a metro, with good neighbors, that will feel like a refuge in the mega city. PRAY also for comfort for my heart as I grieve the loss of the good gift of my current home.
We’re heading to the island again to do henna and tell a Good News story on Tuesday with a smaller group and for a shorter time. PRAY for good weather, unity, good conversations, open hearts and no hiccups with authorities.
I am coming this morning asking for prayers for my small family. My husband had an emergency surgery and he was the main provider of our home and we also have a 1 year old daughter. He had a colonectomy and now is left with a colostomy bag for at least 3 months before we return for another surgery if all goes well. We have a lot of unknown ahead so we just ask for prayers, healing and just comfort in knowing God will provide for us and that his light just keeps shining through even in the storm. We know the God we serve.

The island outreach went so well. We had 331 people listen to the story of Good News. We were a united group from 8 different fellowships. One of the storytellers said she had met someone from our group on the island 11 years ago and had prayed to receive Christ. This year she was calling others to receive him. It was also our first year to have two generations of local believers participating. Separately there was a group distributing Good News maps and were able to give away over 700 of those and have some meaningful conversation. In another group a former Mosque leader spent the day praying for people, sharing his testimony and answering questions. Please PRAY for all of those who heard Good News to be granted the gift of faith.
PRAY for one gal I met, Sadie, who has been researching and seems really interested in learning more about Jesus.
