Very discouraged this week, received a call from VHS this week: Logan left school withouth permission. He says, "not feeling well and teacher that was supposed to be helping me left me in room alone for 35 min and so I decided to forget it." Lord please help him to make better choices and hlep me to stay strong. He will have OSS on Monday as a consequence.

Pray for Gary Graves who begins treatment for stage 3 esophageal cancer on 11/20. He will also have more testing done to see if the cancer has spread. Pray for his family to draw near to God during this time and not run away. Pray for our son as we take him to Vanderbilt on 12/1 to have his eye examined. Pray for my students and that I'm able hear God's guidance in how to teach them and that my work may be used to show the Glory of God.
Thank you Lord for your love and provision. We have two more appointments in Knoxville on Tuesday 11/21 and Wednesday 11/22 this coming week. Praying for wisdom on the path to subsequently follow.

Garrett Suiter, age 26, of Byrdstown, passed away at home Friday 11/17/17 from extended battle with cancer. Garrett was a dedicated servant of God, vibrant much loved young man. His parents are school teachers, Brandon and Lisa Garrett Suiter, with one sister, Jane Ann Suiter. He is a member of my old home church, Bloomington Christian Church in Byrdstown. His distant cousin is a life group coach here at The River for the older folks, Mr Suiter.. Please remember all that loved and knew Brandon. He will be massively missed but left no doubt as to his walk with the Lord. Thank you and may God bless during this difficult time.

We have a big exciting week ahead of us. We leave Friday with our first small youth group going to Portland for a concert. Saturday we are helping with an International Thanksgiving Dinner, Sunday I get the chance to preach in Oregon for the first time, and we are hosting our second dinner at a local community center the evening before Thanksgiving to connect with families. Pray for strength and connections that point to Jesus!
