My spouse and I moved here about 6 months ago. The dream was Nashville, but cookeville seemed like a more practical choose given that I could transfer here for work. It was only a month ago that my husband found employment. He is an independent contractor for an audio visual company. It was an answer to our prayers. We were struggling financially in ways you couldn't imagine. They have called him for one job... one. He has continued to apply for jobs to supplement and we keep praying he will get more work, but nothing yet. My job doesn't pay enough for the bills. We need a miracle or we move in with his parents in Alabama or my mom in Florida... I don't know what God is doing in this stage in life. We've both become depressed but we need the the wisdom and the strength to endure it.
A former teacher colleague of mine at Lithia Springs High School shot himself at school yesterday morning. Please pray for his family, for him (he's in stable condition), and please pray for the students at that school and the alumni.
