My step-daddy's mother, Barbara, had a small stroke this past weekend. I think she's doing okay, but I would be grateful for prayers for health and encouragement for her and my family back home. Thank you, so much, really.
My family has attended The River for the last 3 weeks trying to find our place and be able to call somewhere "Home." We have liked it greatly so far and it feels good in our hearts, minds and souls. We moved to the area a few years ago, and have had a very hard time transitioning to the area. It has taken a toll on us as parents, individually, on our marriage and on our children. We get very homesick sometimes, but ask for guidance and help from our Lord, every day. We just ask for prayer and comfort that we are needed and wanted somewhere. We have so much to give ands offer of ourselves. We just feel alone a lot in this area. We pray for good friendships to come in to our lives, and for our children's as well. Life is very different here, and not always easy. Thank you!

My husband has submitted his resume in to a company that is much closer to home and would have him working days instead of midnight shift, which he has been working for almost two years and still is not used to.
