Me and my husband have just sent our preliminary application in to see about adopting a special needs child from Hong Kong. We will know if we will be able to go forward in 2 days. Please pray that we will get a YES. We also need prayer if we are accepted for the financial part too. I know God is with us and He is awesome!
My sister Kathy has been diagnosed with stomach cancer and it is bad. She has decided NOT to have any treatment done and just live with whatever time she has left. She cares for a disabled husband. Please pray for Skyler Shelton (my son Ian's friend). He has been sent to Vanderbilt with a needle in his lung and near his heart. Waiting for the doctor to do a procedure to hopefully remove it without having to go in by opening him up. Some friends were playing a dart game and instead for blowing it out, he sucked it down his throat and now in his lung. Praying for wisdom that our children will learn from this and stop to think what the out come can bring.

Please pray for our brother in law, John who finally had his back surgery on Wednesday. The surgery was intensive with fusing and rods and instead of going through his sides they went through his abdomen. He has 2 lengthy, incisions front and back. Pray for his healing! 2 weeks ago I wrote a prayer request for a Job in Cookeville so I could move here from KY and marry my fiance, Andy. The next week I got a call for an interview at Tech. Last Sunday I prayed with Ester over my interview Monday morning. The interview went well. This past Friday I got a phone call offering me the job! I accepted and am now looking for an apartment and can now set a date for the wedding. Praise God!

My aunt Janet is in the hospital for a UTI and found out she has Cdiff. This is a big deal because she had a liver transplant several years ago and any illness is more severe because of the transplant.

My husband, myself, our 3 year old and baby on the way are considering moving to Cookeville. We live in Knoxville and lead a small group, love our church and have deep roots here. I feel like God is calling us to Cookeville but its a huge decision and would require us to leave everything with a baby on the way. We go back and forth about moving or staying and Peter commuting. UPDATE: My father-in-law is stable but still dealing with agressive Leukemia. They are giving him blood about every day. His chemo should be starting this week. Missy has had problems with back pain and extreme naseau. It had gotten better but then came back Monday night and she ended up in the E.R. They couldn't find a cause. These symptoms are identical to what she had before her emergency surgery in December. We pray this is not complications from the surgery. Pray she will be healthy as she is trying to help her parents in there time of need.

Also she will be moved to a hospital in Knoxville so she will be closer to her family. Also prayer request for my friend Faye who is having knee problems and also for Carl who is having severe vertigo. He has had an MRI and waiting for results.
