PRAISE REPORT: I want to thank those who have been praying for my 85 year old dad who is in rehab for a broken hip. He has made great progress and was able to walk 30 feet today. He will be released from rehab on Tuesday. Praise the Lord for His healing power!

In November I was laid off from my job. In December my Grandmother passed away. She was 94 and a Christian, so I know she's in Heaven. Please pray for me to find & get the job God wants me to have. Pray for me as I grieve my Grandmother's passing. She raised me and like my family tells me, for all intents and purposes, she was more like a Mother to me. We were very close. I was her only grandchild.

Yesterday I attended a service at The River-- What a blessing! This morning I arrived to work like any normal day, and received a text message that has burdened my heart. My nephew (4 months old) has RSV. He has had it for about a week now, but the doctors have told my sister that he is not improving. My sister does not know the Lord... As I'm here not knowing what to do or where to turn, I realized that the Lord is the ultimate healer, and that He could do such a great work through this situation for my lost sister and this poor little baby. Please pray for Ricky H. He was in an accident where he has fallen over 20 feet onto asphalt and concrete. He has suffered from broken ribs, vertebrae, and skull / brain injuries. He needs surgery to save his eye. Pray that God will heal him and provide means for the medical help he needs. Please pray for Lisa (as she takes care of him) for strength to provde care and support for Ricky.

I have been trying different medications for anxiety for about a year and a half now. Nothing is working and I am having severe side effects from the medicine. I have decided to go off medication and face my fears and be delivered from this stress in my life. Please pray that I will be able through Christ to conquer my anxiety and that the withdrawels from the medications will be tolerable.
Please pray for baby Isaac, son of Elizabeth and Kenneth Presley. Isaac was born Thursday morning with fluid on his brain and other issues. The family lost a little girl, Macie, about 18 months ago after living 4 days to a similar condition. He has been wearing a cooling cap for the past several days to help develop his brain and it will be removed at 1pm today with further testing tomorrow to see how things are going.

We attend the River on Miracle Rd and live in Sparta. We are have become overwhelmed with a LARGE sink hole in our back yard. I was walking in the lard yesterday and one leg fell all the way thru. We do not have the finacial ability to call the right person the fix it and we have heard that some sink holes cant be fixed. My 3 and 6 year old are not allowed to play in the back yard anymore but it keeps getting bigger and our yard is so wet we cant find anyone to fill the holes. We need pray to find someone with knowledge aout sink holes and that we can get this fixed for our kids safety. And if anyone has large rocks and dirt Thank you very much

My brother-in-law is suffering from back surgery complications. His wife died two years ago, and he is alone and depressed.

A little girl named Mayliah, the granddaughter of a friend of ours, pulled a pot of boiling water onto herself. She is in the hospital in Burlington, VT. She is not eating and is in rough shape. Please pray for her as she is transferred to a burn hospital and for the long road to recovery ahead of her.
I want to thank those who prayed for my dad earlier in the week. He made it through surgery on Thursday. He is currently in the ICU Unit in Crossville after being given pain medication that he was allergic to. Continue to pray for his recovery and rehab in a skilled nursing faciltiy during the upcoming weeks.

My Grandmother Shugart passed away at 1:10 A.M. this morning. Her funeral & visitation are Monday in East Tennessee, where I'm from & she lived. I went to live with her when I was 11 and she raised me so we were very, very close. (A lot of people have compared us to mother & daughter rather than grandmother & granddaughter.) Please keep all of my family in your prayers. She was 94 years young and a Christian, so I know she's in Heaven with Jesus and all the many folks who went on before her.
That we will rise up and call ourselves blessed even in times of uncertainty. So much discouragement and uncertainty is trying to hold our minds captive. We must renew our minds and dwell on eternal things. We as the church must go out and be ministers of Christs grace and mercy. We have something that this world does not, we have Jesus. My prayer for 2013 is that we will all answer the call of being a servant.
