My mom, Ruth, is having surgery on Oct. 11th. She's already in bad health, so every little physical problem just adds a burden. Please pray she'll be strong enough for the out patient procedure. Please also keep my dad, Jim, in your prayers, as he's her care giver, but he works full time, as well.

I travel away from home Monday - Friday every week, sometimes 2 week trips. It is really taking a toll on my family and I. I work as a maintenance man welding, electrical, plumbing, etc. I've been searching for work close to home in this field hoping and praying I can have more time with my family and still provide. I ask your prayers as well and thank you for providing me and my family a home church, we are proud to be members of. God's will be done.

One of my friends and her husband have been trying to have a baby for a few years. Well, God blessed them with one this week and the baby has been sent to Vanderbilt.
