Please pray for a friend of mine son. He is 5yrs old and they suspect that the shunt in his head that dains the CFS fluid is failing. We pray that this isn't the case because it means another surgery and we pray for God's healing and intervention in this. Also please pray for my friend her name is Ashley, as a mom who has been through a child with surgeries I know the heart aches of watching a child in pain and having to have major surgeries.

My wife is in battle with depression over her father's death almost a year ago and questions of why, how did this happen. She is moving toward a dark place and events in the next week make the situation worse for her. I got the promotion! After first applying April 23 and not hearing anything , God made an opportunity for the hiring manager (who I have never met in person) to ask me for a resume and cover letter. He fought for me - then had to tell me I would not be eligible for the promotions. Sept 2, weeks later, He was able to interview me. After 3 interviews (and a lot of waiting) God did the impossible and I was hired. God did the fighting for me. Praising and giving Him the glory for all of the answered prayers and the desires of my heart.

As I’ve been working out of town the past couple of months, I have been blessed to find a brother in Christ within the group I am in. This past week, he and I decided to meet and have a small devotional together. As people walked past the room we were in, we found our group grow to 9 people. Please join me in praying for one of those men - Noah - who is curious about the Gospel and open to learning about salvation! Pray that I would be bold in sharing with him.
Please pray for my Dad. He works as a truck driver and was hit in the face with the straps from his load. He broke most of his front four teeth out and the rest of them are broken off jaggedly. He will need extensive dental work, but has to continue to work this week. Pray for his healing and God's provision to handle this financial difficulty.
