Elaine McDermott - healing from surgery and for no infection to set in
My wife Missy needs healing. She has Cyclical Vomitting Syndrome. She will vomit repeatedly every day for about two weeks with extreme back pain. Then she will be fine for about six weeks. Then it starts up again. The doctors say there is nothing they can do except give pain meds. She needs divine healing. She’s nearing the end of a sick cycle. We’re hoping she will be well at least for Christmas Day.

Please pray for our family, we're facing some new stresses that we are having a hard time coping with. Specifically, pray for my wife and me to manage our finances well while continuing to put our faith in God. Our son has started occupational therapy, which is more expensive than we had expected. Also, pray that we find ways to cope with our commute as a family and that we can make better for our son so that he isn't so prone to bad behavior. Our goal has been to move back to Carthage where we work and where our families live. Pray that God either speeds that process up or shows us a different plan.

Please pray for my grandma Ruby Duckworth in Florida. I just received a text this morning from my uncle that she is in the hospital. She fell yesterday morning at home and has 20 fractures in her pelvis, had internal bleeding that has stopped and is in ICU. She may be moved from ICU later today and is heavily medicated and resting. I just lost my dad in October and this time of year is already hard enough to add this to it. I am extremely close to my grandparents. Please pray for her and my granddaddy and uncle who is helping them.

Prayers for my college aged children, they are not speaking to each other and feel like I should choose one over the other. This makes me not look forward to Christmas because of the stress and how it is breaking my heart. I pray God puts people in their faith to show them wisdom, love, and grace.
